Charles was born in the Santa Rosa Hospital over 70 years ago. He went to school at San Antonio Academy, TMI, Trinity, and Duke University. With a BS in Commercial Banking he decided to “take a few pictures” until he went to work for a bank.Parish Photography, Inc., was organized in 1964, and became so successful that he never went into the banking business. As it became necessary, Charles founded Alamo Photo Labs, Inc., Broadway Party Pictures, Inc., Texas Professional Photo Labs, and Wedding Planners, Inc. He was also a founder of PPSA and served as their President in 1971.

From the beginning it was clear to Charles that the most successful photographers in America had a clear understanding of the social world. With Parish Photography employees, he always emphasized the importance of “having nice manners” as his family once taught him.

This very unusual and popular presentation is a compilation of essential ideas that he has made part of the handbook for his employees. Charles will share with us some of the important details of dealing with customers. He will also stress the importance of being part of your community.
