May’s meeting has been rescheduled for the 19th. That’s the same time, same place, only now on the 3rd Tuesday of May. Our speaker, Farrah Braniff, has been asked by Ron Nichols (PPA President) to attend a National Print Competition Judge’s Workshop, and could not refuse!
We hope this change of plans will not inconvenience you, and I personally apologize for the late notice.
We are thrilled that we could reschedule the program so soon, and look forward to Farrah’s information on marketing. More details on her program will arrive soon! See you on the 19th!

Inspired Marketing…
Our clients are being hit with thousands of marketing messages per day, how can you stand out? Learn how to get inspired about your marketing, define your brand and improve your online presence. Find out ways to make your clients love you and do some of the promoting for you! Learn more about marketing specifically to today’s decision makers (that’s Mom in case you were wondering!). Farrah will also share some of her AN-NE award winning marketing materials with you and discuss the process of developing her award-winning website.
Farrah’s topics will include:
- How to define and develop your brand
- How to create a comprehensive and cohesive set of marketing materials
- Finding inspiration for your marketing efforts
- Low or no cost ways to find and connect with prospective clients
- Marketing to women
- Your Identity vs. your brand
- What is a client evangelist?
- How to avoid shotgun marketing- defining your desired market and creating a marketing plan just for that group
A reminder… we continue to meet at the College Station Conference Center at 1300 George Bush Drive, in room 106 (we are now in a bigger room… look for the signs in the lobby to direct you). We will gather on the 19th at 6:30pm for some social time, briefly take care of Guild business at 6:50, and then start the program at 7:00. If you would like to bring a potential competition print for Farrah to informally review either before or after the meeting, please do so!
PPA Print Competition deadline is the 22nd (it’s not too late!), and the TPPA Kerrville Seminar and Print Competition is June 14th-17th, so if you were considering entering in either these or a future competition, this may be good time to get some informal feedback on a potential print.
